About me
I am Anton Meier and I have been involved in the translation and localisation business since 1990. After graduating from Sheffield University I started as a native language specialist at GST Software Products, a developer of publishing and design software, where I was directly involved in the localisation of software interfaces, documentation, marketing texts, packaging and all other product related materials. In the mid nineties I returned to Germany where I worked as a Localisation Manager at GECAP GmbH in Munich. My key responsibilities included managing large localistion projects for major clients such as Microsoft, HP, SAP, Oracle and many others. Since 2000 I have worked as a freelance translator for medium to large Language Service Providers.
